De acordo com dados da RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America), instituto que coleta os números sobre a venda no maior mercado musical do mundo, os Estados Unidos, o Guns N' Roses tem três discos entre os 100 álbuns de rock mais vendidos de todos os tempos. São eles: "Appetite for Destruction" (1987), "Use Your Illusion I" (1991) e "Use Your Illusion II" (1991).
